Public Transit Signage & Wayfinding
The Edmonton Valleyline LRT is a key component of the city’s transportation strategy, and is expected to play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for residents and supporting the growth of the city’s economy. It will help to reduce traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging people to use public transit instead of driving. The first phase spans from downtown to Mill Woods, and the second phase extending to Lewis Farms.
The project includes new light rail stations, park and ride facilities, and pedestrian and bicycle pathways, connecting with the existing LRT system and bus networks in the city. Hi Signs worked closely with multi-disciplinary sub trades in a highly integrated project management team to complete the line wide public transit signage program. An advantage in choosing Hi Signs is our in-house fabrication expertise, detailed shop drawings, engineering plans and professional project management.
