Architectural Interior Wayfinding

A good wayfinding system can encourage visitors to return, making the City Hall more accessible and user-friendly for everyone. With a clear and well-designed wayfinding system, visitors can quickly find what they are looking for, reducing wait times, and improving the overall efficiency of the building. Edmonton City Hall worked closely with Hi Signs to implement their interior wayfinding program which included maps, stairwell and floor identification, information stations, digital directory housings, digital parkade entrance monument and more.

Hi Signs manufactured and installed braille and tactile wayfinding signs as a requirement under accessibility laws, meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. Hi Signs is equipped with ADA compliant braille and 3D texture printing capabilities, as well as providing english to braille translations for our clients. Installing braille and tactile signs demonstrates an organization’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.
