Comprehensive Sign Plans

A Complex Problem

Cascade Shops, located in the heart of Banff, needed a comprehensive signage solution that aligned with the building’s unique architecture while adhering to the stringent sign standards set by the Town of Banff. The challenge was to create a unified, aesthetically pleasing signage system that respected the town’s historical integrity and natural surroundings, while still providing clear wayfinding and maximizing brand visibility for all the businesses within the shopping center.

A Simple Solution

We collaborated with multiple stakeholders, including local businesses and municipal authorities, to ensure the signage met the required standards while enhancing the visibility and accessibility of each business. Using high-quality materials, custom fabrication, and strategic sign placement, we delivered a unified system that respected the architectural character of the building while providing excellent wayfinding for locals and tourists alike. Custom illumination solutions were applied where appropriate, ensuring visibility during both day and night hours without disrupting the scenic beauty of the surrounding area.

The Result

The signage for Cascade Shops now stands as a prime example of how Comprehensive Sign Plans can integrate business branding with architectural integrity. The result is a signage system that elevates the shopping experience, drawing attention to individual businesses while maintaining a cohesive look that fits the building’s distinct style. By incorporating durable materials and thoughtful design, the signs not only guide visitors effectively but also contribute to the overall aesthetic of the Banff Avenue shopping experience, adhering to the strict guidelines set by the town.
